"Renny Smith's State Farm's St John Indiana office is a well run business. They also have Staff Agents to make sure you are covered all day every day. I had pleasure to be connected to Staff agent "Jane" who is truly knowledgeable in home & auto insurance. I needed a temporary insurance card for new car purchase & Jane responded by sending me a pdf version within 10 minutes. I don't take chances with my insurance needs - and rely fully on Renny Smith's S.F. office to service home, auto, & extra liability coverage."

"After 30+ years with Country Companies, I decided to look for a better price. Talked to someone in Renny Smith's office and switched my homeowners, two cars and motorcycle coverage. They are very nice and great at taking your money. I called to cancel our motorcycle insurance for the winter, which they said they would do, but they didn't. Called the next month and they apologized and said it would be cancelled and I would get a refund. Still hasn't happened, plus they added late fees. Talking to the woman in the office today. I was frustrated, but didn't yell or swear, although I wanted to. She hung up on me. I am very sorry I switched."

"Had a policy with Renny over 2yrs. Wanted to bring insurance over from my Costco executive account for a more seamless process. Applied for a homeowners policy on a property. Immediately set up autopay & submitted payment over the phone. Was told after calling in a month later that the homeowners was rejected due to the roof showing signs of ending its age. Fine, we replaced the roof out of pocket the next weekend. Asked for a reconsideration…crickets. No insurance nor refund but received a $48 bill for the next partial month where insurances had been REJECTED. Went back to the original insurer for homeowners. Did stay with state farm for my other policies but switched to a different agent. Renny is good with customer service generally, friendly but seems to lack in integrity."

"Not only is Renny my agent, he has sponsored several community events for my outreach organization including a back to school bash where we had over 300 attendees. He passed out gift bags and spoke with residents and parents about the importance of insurance. He is the epitome of the State Farm slogan, lol. Like a good neighbor. Good people."
